Winters & Hirsch brokers sale of residential and retail building in Berlin to private investor from the US

Acting on instructions from a listed real estate company, the Berlin-based real estate agency Winters & Hirsch has brokered the sale of a mixed-use residential and retail building on Gotzkowskystraße in Berlin’s Moabit sub-district (Mitte district) to a private investor from the United States.

Completed in 1907, the fully let building has 21 residential units with approx.
911 sqm and two commercial units on the ground floor with a total of approx. 143 sqm. The rental space in the building amounts to a total of approx. 1,054 sqm. The property comes with approx. 452 sqm of outdoor space.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The multiplier amounts to 18.3 plus purchasing costs.

The property forms part of the Turmstraße conservation area created in 2011. An up-and-coming neighbourhood in the sought-after Moabit sub-district, Gotzkowskystraße connects Moabit with the sub-district of Charlottenburg.

The purchase contract was notarised by notary Michael Ch. Bschorr of the Berlin-based law firm of Wollmann & Partner.
