Winters & Hirsch brokers sale of listed property in Marburg to local private investor

Acting as sole agent on behalf of the seller, the Berlin real estate consultancy Winters & Hirsch has brokered the sale of a listed residential and commercial building at Ockershäuser Allee 1 to a local private investor. The property, located close to the University of Marburg, has been owned by the seller’s family for more than 90 years.

The listed property was completed in 1905 and is located in the Ockershausen district of Marburg. The property has an area of approximately 2,444 sqm and comprises a listed frontage building, two outbuildings and a garage, which is in need of refurbishment. The 10 residential units and 1 retail unit are spread over approximately 981 sqm.

The district town of Marburg in the central Hessian district of Marburg-Biedenkopf has a population of around 76,000 and is strongly characterised by its more than 24,000 students. The beautifully renovated old town is popular not only with the locals.

The contract of sale was notarised by notary Dr. Anton S. Schmölz.

The seller was represented by the Bielefeld-based law firm Diekmeyer Wagenknecht Nordmeyer.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
