The experts at Berlin-based real estate agency Winters & Hirsch have exclusively advised GRR Garbe Retail Real Estate GmbH on the acquisition of an EDEKA store in Breklum as part of a forward deal.

The property was completed in the second quarter of 2024 and EDEKA was secured as a tenant with a lease term of 15 years plus 3/5-year options.

The new retail property has a total rental area of approx. 3,300 sqm. On the 12,218 sqm site, there are approx. 147 parking spaces available to customers.

The new EDEKA store was built at Husumer Straße 17a and is located directly on the busy Grüne Küstenstraße (B5) in the municipality of Breklum in the district of Nordfriesland. The municipality of Breklum has a population of approx. 2,400 and is located approx. 15 km north of Husum.
Breklum’s proximity to the North Sea and the Wadden Sea makes it an ideal starting point for excursions in the surrounding area.

Winters & Hirsch was exclusively commissioned by the seller to market this retail property and also advised and brokered the buyer. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
